Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast light rain/thunder shower at isolated places especially in Chamoli, Pithoragarh and Champawat districts of Uttarakhand on Saturday. Dehradun saw hot and humid weather conditions on Friday, resulting in the people suffering from the sultry heat, particularly during the day.
The Met director Bikram Singh said that the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 33.2°C and 22.0°C respectively in Dehradun on Friday.
The weather forecast for Dehradun on Saturday is partly cloudy sky. Thunder cloud development/light rain may occur in some areas towards afternoon/evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 32°C and 22°C respectively in the city on Saturday, he added.
