Uttarakhand Meteorological centre has forecast very light to light rain/snow in higher reaches across Garhwal region, on Wednesday. However, dry weather would prevail in rest of Uttarakhand . Shallow fog/mist may occur in some places in the plains of the State, especially in Haridwar and US Nagar districts, during morning hours on Wednesday, said Met officer Bikram Singh on Tuesday. He attributed this to western disturbances. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 22.8°C and 10.1°C, respectively in Dehradun on Tuesday. The weather forecast for Dehradun on Wednesday is partly to generally cloudy sky with haze/mist. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 21°C and 10°C, respectively on Wednesday.
