Despite using Government machinery Congress party failed to bring crowd more than the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi rally, which had happened on December 15, 2013. Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has failed to talk about industrial package and special status to Uttarakhand.
Talking to The Pioneer State BJP president Tirath Singh Rawat said that Rahul rally was complete failure of congress because congress talks about youth but youth presence was a little. Even congress leaders were divided into factions. To show huge presence of crowd they had brought gathering from Saharanpur, Bijnore, and Muzaffarnagar districts of Uttar Pradesh.
They used Government machinery to make arrangement of crowd but they could not attract crowd. Even they had deployed police and PAC personnel in civil dress. Even Regional Transport Officers (RTO) were instructed to make arrangement of vehicle to ferry crowd.
Making comparison with Modi’s rally Rawat said that people had come to listen Modi by using their own means but here they were facilitated by the congress party. He reiterated that people are angry with congress which is why crowds were divided into different community because they were holding their community placard during rally.
Despite all this Rahul has failed to give a roadmap of development to the nation. Although he convened a meeting to know about rehabilitation works in disaster affected areas but this is not appropriate time to have a meeting on it. This is time to deliver work on ground because disaster affected people are residing in temporary makeshift even after eight months of disaster.
Attacking on chief minister Harish Rawat, BJP president said that incumbent CM is more guilty than the Ex-CM Vijay Bahuguna because when union government constituted a committee to monitor rescue and rehabilitation work during disaster in June 2013 then Rawat was part of the committee so he can’t run away from his accountability.
