On the orders of the state government, the district administration of Champawat has decided to suspend the famous Purnagiri fair. Large number of pilgrims visits the temple during the one month long fair. On Monday, the secretary medical health and family welfare Nitesh Jha directed the DM of Champawat to suspend the fair in view of the threat posed by the novel Coronavirus.
