The Punjab Government has instructed its officers/officials of Punjab Civil Secretariat -1 and 2 to provide their residential and mobile telephone numbers to civil control room so that they may be contacted after the office hours or during holidays.
A spokesman of the Punjab Government said that Administrative Reforms Department has issued a letter to all Special Secretaries/Minister, Secretary/Minister, Private Secretary. Minister, Private Secretary Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries, Administrative Secretaries, Special Secretaries, Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, Additional Secretaries and All Branches of Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 and 2 to provide this information in a week to Civil Control Room (Room No.4, Floor-5th) Punjab Civil Secretariat-1.
The spokesman further said that this information could be uploaded on e-mail 'ccrpunjab@gmail.com'.
If any official is found providing wrong information regarding his telephone/mobile number, strict action would be taken against him as per conduct rules, added the spokesman. Further, he said that if any official doesn’t furnish the same in time, then disciplinary action would be taken against him/her.
