PSS, JHSSS are on path of agitaion

The taking back of strike call by the agitating lecturers and lTs is a big relief for both students of more than 2300 schools and State Government but the Government is now faced with another ordeal as the other teaching organisation like Prathemik Shiksak Sangh (PSS) and Junior High School Shiksak Sangh (JHSSS) are also on path of agitation.

The PSS the organisation of primary teachers has threatened to undertake marches to education directorate and chief minister’s residence on September 19 and 20 respectively. On 19 the PSS has given a call of mass leave for all the primary teachers of the State.

There are about 40000 primary teachers and their agitation would affect more than 17000 primary schools. The JHSS on the other hand has given a similar call on September 22 and 23. The education minister Naithani has invited the leaders of JHSS for talks on Monday.
