On Sunday people especially lakshman Siddh temple devotees, who gather in large numbers every Sunday, and the examinees of SSC had to undergo a harrowing experience because they couldn’t find any transportation to help them reach their destination.
Agitators had blocked all the connecting roads so that the entire area residents were confined in the locality. Although they ended their agitation when the ADM gave a written assurance to them that if police failed to crack the case till September 21 then State Government would recommend for CBI inquiry but the situation has raised several questions. Initially they thought that jam would be cleared by the protesters with administration assurance but they refused to budge till 3 pm then they started rolling towards Jogiwala. Police had raised barricade by parking their jeep on way leading to Haridwar at Jogiwala.

When The Pioneer enquired about why he is here then Rawat said, "I came here to console the victim family who are neighbours of my relatives. I am here to give moral support to the people because such things can happen with anyone so need to be checked right now."
