A Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) based property dealer Manoj Gupta and his lady friend Mamta are reported to have gone missing from a farmhouse in Premnagar area in Dehradun since Thursday night. Traces of blood were found on the bed used by the duo but the police so far have not made any major headway towards solving the case. The Dehradun Kotwali Circle Officer Manoj Katyal informed the Pioneer that Kishan Kumar Gupta, a friend of the missing person Manoj Gupta had registered a complaint and a case under section 364 of the Indian Penal Code had been lodged in Premnagar Police Station based on the complaint. A police team has already has been formed and it has begun its investigations in the case. Those who are employed at the farm house informed the police that Manoj Gupta had arrived at the farm house accompanied by a lady named Mamta. The farm house staff had also served dinner to the duo. However, later on they were not able to find the duo in their room with the whereabouts of the duo remaining unknown till the time of this report being filed.
