After a long wait, the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission started the process of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of 1761 general category and 188 women Lecturer Teachers (LT) on Tuesday. The senior officers of the education department are taking part in the DPC. The general secretary of the Rajkeeya Shikshak Sangh (RSS), the organisation of LT and Lecturers, Sohan Singh Majila said that the teachers who got ad- hoc promotion in May 2018 would be promoted in the DPC. Similarly the teachers recruited in the year 2016-17 in science, mathematics and geography would also be promoted.
