After inaugurating election office of Tehri candidate Mala Rajya laxmi Shah at Ambiwala, Dehradun, BJP National Secretary Trivendra Singh Rawat lamented that the pace of development has come to stop in the State due to the lack of vision of the Congress-led State Government.
He said that the State Government is yet to take concrete steps for redressing the grievances being faced by the disaster hit victims. While canvassing in the locality, Shah has alleged that Union Government has not taken potent steps for keeping a tab on the prices of essential commodities and curbing corruption cases across the nation. She claimed that dozens of beneficiary schemes and projects would be launched, if she is again voted to the power. She also expressed her concern over the issue that State Government has not taken any steps for rebuilding infrastructure in the disaster hit areas of the State despite the fact that more than 10 months have passed since the disaster struck in the different cities of the State.
While highlighting that roads are damaged in the higher parts of the State, Shah said that villagers traverse several kilometers to fetch their needs. She also urged from the gathering to exercise their franchise in the favour of the BJP as the party will not only push the State but also the country on the path of development. Shah also urged from the party activists to focus on door-to-door campaigning and to create awareness among the masses focusing the anti-people policies which were introduced during the Congress rule in the State.
