Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated on Monday across the state with the traditional devotion and fervour.
The devotees brought the idols of lord Ganesha, god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune, at the puja venues in processions accompanied by the traditional drummers.
Community worships were held at many places in Haridwar, Pauri and others. The temples were decorated for the day.
Evenings were enlivened by the devotees singing devotional songs.
