The Almora district administration has ordered a magisterial enquiry into a road accident case in which as many as two persons died and two others were injured when a vehicle (UK-04
TA-1566) they were travelling in, met with an accident near Chichaun on the Dotiyal-Deghat Road in Almora on October 30. There were total nine passengers travelling in this vehicle said the officials concerned of the district administration, Almora. District Magistrate, Almora, Akshyat Gupta, has informed that SDM, Salt, has been appointed as an investigating officer to conduct a magisterial enquiry into this road accident case.
And the SDM, Salt has also been directed to investigate the said road accident case within 20 days and submit a comprehensive report in this regard to the district administration, Almora, added Gupta.
