Following The Pioneer report that the legal department, which had received the President's approval on the State lokayukta Act passed by Maj Gen (retd) Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri's Government in 2011 and later sent for President's approval by the then governor Margaret Alva, kept the President's approval information under wraps, the CM said that legal department had received the Act on September 9, but they did not inform the Chief Secretary and informed law Minister Indira Hridayesh. For this negligence, a probe is on to find out the real culprit and once it is complete, the Government would take punitive action against the official concerned.
