With an aim to gain the attention of the Government, Indian Medical Association, Uttarakhand Chapter has called for complete closure of private nursing homes and hospitals and clinical establishments against the Clinical Establishment Act on Saturday.
The private doctors lamented that owners of small private nursing homes and common man would be majority affected with Clinical Establishment Act and the cost of the medical service will be increased.
Meanwhile, the Government doctors’ association— Provincial Medical Health Services Association —State president, Dr BC Ramola strongly ruled out any possibility of Government doctors to go on strike on Saturday.
