In yet another incident of irregularity in the implementation of AAUY, the authorities have found that patients to many private hospitals were being referred from a Primary Health Centre (PHC) located in Udham Singh Nagar district where there is no doctor. Many patients were referred from PHC Kalakheda which is sans a doctor.
The SHA has now directed the Chief Medical Officer ( CMO) of U S Nagar to provide it the list of hospitals where the referred patients from PHC Kalakheda were treated.
