Although he has intimated about the damaged road to the PWD and national highway authority of India (NHAI), who has been busy in four laning of Dehradun Haridwar road, officials several time but they said the road falls under the Railway Ministry so they can’t repair the stretch.
He further said that during VIP visit police deploy few police personnel to avoid perennial traffic jam but later they don’t bother to man the traffic at the crossing. Sometime they fill the holes with plain stone or bricks, which create another patch after rain. As he heard that the President is going to visit Dehradun then he expressed hope that with the President’s visit even Railway Ministry will do the patchwork at railway crossing to provide comfort journey to them.
According to Jogiwala police post everyday they receive more than five calls about vehicle hit with each other.
