President Pranab Mukherjee would arrive in Dehradun on July 10 on a two-day Uttarakhand visit. In view of this, the Chief Secretary met the officials on Wednesday and instructed them to make necessary arrangements.
It is learnt that the President would be received by the Chief Secretary among other dignitaries at Dehradun Airport from where he would fly to GTC helipad by a chopper. Secretary Protocol has been instructed to make all the necessary arrangements before he arrives.
In view of the President staying at Ashiyana this time, the officials concerned have been instructed to arrange telephone, broadband connection, printer and scanner. As he is visiting the State in the monsoon the officials concerned have been asked to make arrangement of water proof tents aside from ensuring proper sanitation in and around Ashiyana.
