The presence of some students of the Ayurveda colleges of Haridwar in the Press conference of the Cabinet minister and government spokesperson Madan Kaushik at state secretariat raises a serious concern about secrecy of the cabinet meeting. The presence of these students inside the state secretariat till late hours of the day where the state cabinet was meeting gave enough indication that they were aware that the cabinet was taking up their issue. Interestingly the state cabinet took up only two subjects, one concerning amendments in excise policy and other for 17 students of MD and MS courses of Ayurveda colleges. It is worth mentioning here that the state administration in a controversial order some time ago had reinforced the ban on the entry of journalists in the section offices of the secretariat on the ground that the issues and subjects of cabinet meetings were getting leaked in the media. However the presence of these students inside the high security state secretariat clearly shows that someone had informed them that the cabinet was taking up their case in its meeting on Friday.
