Eighteen-year-old Divya Pratap Singh, son of Uttarakhand senior MlA Pranav Singh ‘Champion’ secured bronze medal in the International Junior Shooting Championship held in Finland on June 4, 2015. He played double trap shooting competition and secured bronze medal, officials said.. Earlier, Pranav Singh had won national championship in shooting continuously for the seven years. Besides, he also won medals in the Asian Championship. Champion expressed hope that his son would win a medal in Olympic to be held Rio, Brazil. By winning medal in Olympic he would bring laurel to the nation and Uttarakhand as well, he said.
