Postal services express gratitude to PM for supporting khadi uniform

There is an atmosphere of joy among the employees of postal services of Uttarakhand as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Man ki Bat radio address on January 31, appreciated the Uttarakhand Postal circle for its decision that all the postmen and other postal employees would wear Khadi clothing. 

The Chief Postmaster General of Uttarakhand had recently taken this decision to promote Khadi and an order for the purchase of clothing has already been given to Khadi and Gramodyog New Delhi. 

The decision is important as apart from social obligation it would help the small and medium scale industrial units in the country. It is learnt that Uttarakhand postal department is first circle in the country to implement this unique and appreciable decision.
