Dehradun district election officer Chandresh Kumar Yadav has suspended presiding officer of polling party number 120438 and Government inter College lecturer lalit Prasad Dhyani and polling officers Govind Ram and RC Mundhaul because they had used private vehicle to deposit ballot box at strong room, ITI Doiwala.
These polling officers were suspended under the Representation of the People’s Act 1951. They were deployed at Government Junior High School Nakraunda, Doiwala. Doiwala Returning officer Ashok Kumar and sector magistrate, Harrawala, Mahendra Saklani had conducted investigation and these polling officers were found guilty.
