Poll rout prediction: CM reviews situation

Published on:

Following the outcome of exit poll, which has forecasted that the Congress is loosing all the five seats, Chief Minister Harish Rawat reviewed the situation Vidhan Sabha wise of two Parliamentary constituencies of the State on Tuesday.

Political analysts say that CM Rawat is doing all this to keep their Government in order because former Garhwal MP Satpal Maharaj, who joined the BJP by deserting the Congress while general election was on its peak, has overtly claimed that the Congress-led State Government would fall after formation of BJP-led NDA Government at centre.

CM Rawat, who was supposed to reach his office on Tuesday morning, was seen busy in meeting with party leaders and workers at Bijapur. later, he said that this is exit poll and real picture will come on May 16 only.

It is okay that exit poll has shown that the Congress is loosing all the five seats in the State but in reality, it would be different. so wait till the counting finish.

Talking to The Pioneer,  the Congress senior leader,  Heera Singh Bisht, who was roaming in chief minister office (CMO), said that exit poll is really disappointing for the Congress but situation would be different on May 16.

He further said that if the Congress’ high command would have appointed the State Congress president then situation would have been  different.

As you know that the State PCC president, Yashpal Arya, had resigned from the post in 2013, but party high command fought the general election under the leadership of caretaker PCC president.

In nutshell you can say that the Congress fought election without having proper organisation. In another word, the BJP had organisational presence upto Booth level.

Political analyst says that the Congress realised its defeat which is why they have been making excuse.

Meanwhile, leader of Opposition in Vidhan Sabha, Ajay Bhatt alleged that to divert the attention, the Congress has spread a message that four BJP MlAs are in their touch.

As we know that the Congress is in sinking boat so no BJP MlA would dare to ride in it.

In reality, several Congress MlAs are in touch with the BJP senior leaders. Realising such malpractice, the Congress has spread this so that they can keep their house intact.

Bhatt also warned that people, especially who lives in glass houses should not throw stone to other houses.

He made it clear that the BJP does not want to de-stablise the Congress led State Government, so Chief Minister Harish Rawat should try to appease their agitated MlAs to keep their house  in order.

He also advised that the State Government should concentrate on their work and stop misguiding people by issuing false statement  in media.
