The lack of proper communication and confusion in the police department was exposed on Monday when the Mussoorie police station was unable to provide even basic information about the car accident on Monday.
One of the police personnel first said that the case is under the jurisdiction of Rajpur police station and then a lady constable said that though the area was under Mussoorie police station, the team from Cantt police station went for rescue at the accident scene as it was far from Mussoorie police station. When verified, the Cantt police team indeed went for the rescue.
However the question is that if Mussoorie police station was not even able to provide basic details about an accident then how can they be expected to act promptly and efficiently in an emergency situation.
