In view of the cold intensifying following rain in the plains and snowfall in the higher mountainous regions, the municipal corporation of Dehradun placed wood stoves in 10 locations in the city on Thursday.
As per Dehradun municipal commissioner Vijay Kumar Jogdande, the wood stoves have been placed at Dilaram Bazaar, Clock Tower, Prince Chowk, railway station, near the police booth at Araghar, near the tube-well at Dharmpur, at the Vikram Stand near Rispana bridge.
