Dehradun Police have drafted a traffic plan in view of Passing- out- Parade (POP) rehearsal at Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Thursday. SP Traffic DS Gunjyal said that traffic plan has been drafted in such a way as it would help minimise public inconvenience. The people have been asked to follow the drafted traffic plan to avoid inconvenience during the parade. They might use two-wheelers in place of four-wheelers to reach their destination, he said. Meanwhile, the police also conducted a vehicle checking drive in the city ahead of the POP.
He said that during IMA POP rehearsal, no vehicle would be allowed to ply towards IMA from any direction as this area has been declared as zero- zone.
The route of vehicles coming from Ballupur would be diverted at Raganwala barrier, IMA while all the vehicles would move towards Meethiberi and Premnagar.
