In its homework for the mega rally proposed by the State unit of the BJP on March 14, the top officials of the District administration and police put their heads together to brief the police personnel on Sunday.
In massive deployment of force the administration has deputed five Superintendents of Police (SPs), Nine Additional SPs, 24 Station House Officers, 154 Sub Inspectors, 40 Head constables, 395 constables and 16 companies and two platoons of PAC and 04 vehicles mounted with water cannons.
In the briefing, Additional Director General (ADG) law and order Anil Raturi, the Inspector General (IG) of Police, Sanjay Gunjyal, IG law and order Pushpak Jyoti, District Magistrate (DM) of Dehradun, Ravi Nath Raman and SSP Dehradun were present.
