Parvatiya Udyog Kalyan Samiti on Monday demanded that Small and Minimum Enterprises should be allotted plots of 200 meters in the site of State Industries and Infrastructure Development Corporation of Uttarakhand ltd (SIIDCUl) for Small and Medium Enterprises.
President of the Samiti Deepak Dhondiyal said that this was the only way out for promoting the SMEs in the State. Dhondiyal said that their demand should be accepted as a person who wishes to set up a unit of SME can not afford purchasing a plot of area of 1000 meter in SIIDCUl area. The interested candidates should be allotted plots of 200 meter of area in the SIIDCUl.
