The Pithoragarh district administration has ordered a magisterial inquiry into a road accident case in which as many as six persons were injured when a vehicle (UK-05 TA-1122) they were travelling in, met with an accident near Gangolihat tehsil’s Surkhal area in Pithoragarh on October 30. The ill-fated vehicle met with the road accident near Gangolihat tehsil’s Surkhal area in Pithoragarh around 5 pm on October 30, said the officials concerned of the district administration, Pithoragarh. The district administration Pithoragarh has appointed SDM, Gangolihat , Anurag Arya, as an investigating officer to conduct a magisterial enquiry into this road accident case. In the meanwhile, the SDM, Gangolihat has appealed to the common people that in case they have any information in regard to this road accident case, they may register their statement in his office at Gangolihat, on all working days till December 12 so that the magisterial inquiry could be conducted into this matter in a fair manner and financial assistance could be extended to the victims.
