A team of Medical Council of India (MCI) visited the Government Shushila Tiwari Hospital and Medical College on Thursday in connection with the institute being granted recognition for post-graduate courses.
The one- member inspection team led by Prof S Ramakrishna, head of ENT department, Usmania Medical College, Hyderabad, inspected the ENT department of the hospital.
During his visit, he also inspected OPD- related documents of the ENT department, apart from other basic facilities available with the said department. Besides, he also inspected radiology, emergency, telemedicine and some other departments and discussed matters related to them with officials concerned.
Among others Prof C M S Rawat, Principal of the Government Shushila Tiwari Hospital and Medical College, was also present during the inspection.
