Despite strict ban on carrying arms/ weapons to the premises of nomination office, a person reportedly entered the City Magistrate office premises with weapon where the nomination process of the mayor and councillors is presently going on.
However, when the matter was brought to the notice of City Magistrate RD Paliwal, he summoned the police official concerned on duty.
But the police official concerned showed his unawareness about how the said person entered the office premises with the weapon. But the City Magistrate strongly asked the police officials concerned to look into the matter and ensure proper frisking of the people so that no one could enter with weapon the said office premises as the section 144 is already is in force in view of the civic body elections.
