With an intention to approach the youth especially those who are more familiar with social websites like Facebook and all, Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) had organised an Information Technology (IT) workshop for their party workers in Dehradun. PCC president Yashpal Arya has categorically asked them that these days’ people are more friendly with social website so there is need to approach people through it. It seems State congress is not going to leave any stone unturned before upcoming lok Sabha election, which is due in 2014.
Talking to media person State congress spokesperson Shilpi Arora said that 250 workers had participated in the workshop. It was organised to strengthen the party’s IT cell. Now onward we are going to organise such workshop in district and block level. To make such workshop more successful All India congress committee (AICC) general Secretary and communication national convener Ajay Maken and IT national convener Deependra Hooda’ provided full assistance to state PCC. State PCC president Yashpal Arya and State General Secretary Vijay Saraswat made their presentation.
With the help of social media we would be able to educate the people about the congress led Government’s achievement and will also counter the false propaganda created by the Opposition party BJP. In current scenario social media playing pivotal role so we are putting focus on it. They alleged that BJP is misguiding the people through social media. As far as team formation is concerned then we would build our IT cell team in next two months. They further alleged that BJP has appointed several people, who have been doing everything to malign the image of congress Government. Spokesperson further said that we would apprise the about the congress led UPA government and State Government achievement thorough social media. Currently congress is countering the Opposition allegation through fekuexpress.com. AICC IT member Pragnesh Tewar said that Uttarakhand youths are more alert so we would be able to form able team members within time frame. BJP leaders are claiming that they are providing 24*7 power to their people but in reality six lakh farmers are desperate to get power supply.
