Pauri district magistrate Sushil Kumar has ordered an enquiry into the construction work done by the irrigation department in Kotdwar while presiding over a district level monitoring committee (DlRC) meeting held on Wednesday.
He sounded suspicious of the quality of the design and construction work done sans any proper survey. He said he was annoyed over the absence of the executive engineer of the irrigation department and also over the tardy pace of work in the Nirman Nigam.
