Patanjali to give financial aid to kin of martyred 25 CRPF jawans: Balkrishna

The close aide of yoga guru Baba Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishna said on Wednesday during a Press conference at Kankhal that the Patanjali Group has gone beyond rhetorical condolence by deciding to provide financial assistance to the next of kin of the 25 CRPF jawans martyred two days ago in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh while waging a war against the left wing extremists. “It is time to go beyond the rhetorical empathy with those being killed in the war for development against the retrogressive forces and we are happy to set an example by helping the families of those killed in the deadliest attack in recent times which are mainly from the rural areas of the country with Rs two lakh to each,” he said, adding that his group would provide free education to the children of those slain in the Maoist onslaught under ‘Swadeshi Sankalp’.

He also dubbed the rumours being spread on the social media, saying Baba Ramdev was dead as part of a deep-rooted conspiracy hatched by some frustrated   multi-national companies losing out the competition with the Patanjali Group.

“Through the media, I am appealing to the people against being carried away by such rumours.  Swami Ramdev is regularly holding yoga camps here and will continue to do so throughout May and June,” added Balkrishna.
