In an effort to provide succour to the parents and students facing problems due to non availability of textbooks, the National Association for Parents and Students Rights (NAPSR) has started a ‘Give and Get’ campaign. The association of parents has made an appeal to all the parents and students to donate their textbooks of previous classes so that they can be made available to the students who need them. The NAPSR hopes that large number of parents would join the campaign so that the text books can be made available on the basis of give and take to the students. The president of NAPSR, Arif Khan said, “due to the ongoing lockdown enforced to flatten the curve of infection of the COVID-19 the books shops are closes. The schools have started online classes but most of the students have not purchased the textbooks for the new academic session. Our association has decided to setup a book bank in which the students would donate their old books and we would provide them books of the classes they are in.’’ Khan further claimed that the association would also provide pencils, note books and stationery needed to the poor students. He said that the parents can call on 07830548108 for more information and help.
