Pandya nominated to Rajya Sabha

Dr Pranav Pandya, head of Global Gayatri Pariwar, Shantikunj, Haridwar and a pioneer of scientific spirituality, has been nominated to the Rajya Sabha.

He is also the chancellor of the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyala, director of the Brahmavarchas Research Institute, editor of Akhand Jyoti and president of the Swami Vivekananda Yogvidya Mahapeetham.

A doctor by profession, Dr Pandya gave up the lucrative career of a medical professional in US.

He devoted his life for propagating Indian culture all over the world instead at the insistence of his guru Pandit Shriram Sharma.

Talking to media persons in Haridwar, Dr Pandya said that this should not  be seen as his personal achievement.

It just means  the acceptance of the mission he is trying to fulfill, he said. “When we will transform ourselves the world will be transformed,” he said.

In an exclusive talk with The Pioneer, Pandya said, “I have nothing to do with

politics.

“The PM was  for  nominating me. I accepted. I would continue connecting people through spirituality though.”

Notably, Pandya’s

personal relationship with Modi spans over three decades.
