The Fourth State Finance Commission would hold hearing with representatives of panchayat and urban local bodies of Uttarkashi and Tehri from April 28 to 30. The chairman of Commission, B K Joshi and members lM Pant and CMS Bisht would take part in these hearings.
The member of the commission, Avikal Thapliyal said that discussions with the district, block and Village Panchayat representatives of Uttarkashi district would be held on April 28. The Government officers concerned would also be part of the hearing.
He informed that the representatives of Tehri district are invited for discussions and suggestions on April 29. Thapliyal said that on April 30 hearing of Block and Village Panchayat representatives would be held similarly views of Government officers and experts of the districts would also be entertained on the day.
He informed that commission has completed hearings in 11 districts of the State and after completion of
hearings in Tehri and Uttarkashi districts the commission would get into preparing the draft of its final report.
