Taking cognisance of the outdated state of some State Government websites as reported in The Pioneer, the photographs of former Cabinet Ministers have been removed from the home pages of the official departmental websites.
The photographs of former Chief Minister Harish Rawat and former Cabinet Ministers Indira Hridayesh and Surendra Singh Negi have been removed from the official websites of the Higher Education department and Social Welfare department.
However, some of the anomalies are yet to be rectified like the ‘Digester Management’ section on the home page of the Information department (www.uttarainformation.gov.i) yet to be corrected to Disaster Management.
As reported earlier, the link to Sugarcane and Sugar department provided on the State Government website (uk.gov.in) remains diverted to the site of a China based mining and construction machinery company at the URl sugarcaneua.in.
It will be recalled that recently on April 18, The Pioneer had reported on photographs of former chief minister and former ministers being displayed on official departmental websites more than a fortnight after imposition of president’s rule in the State.
