Opp asks Govt to remove 3 Ministers

Published on:

leader of Opposition Ajay Bhatt alleged the Congress-led Uttarakhand Government had failed to serve the people of the State and said that instead of executing their works a few Ministers had been trying to defame BJP leaders by making false allegations against them.

Giving instances the BJP leader said Cabinet Minister Surendra Singh Negi had claimed that Ajay Bhatt was involved in NRHM scam but later he denied this allegation. In Dhaincha seed procurement scam earlier State Government said that it was scam and now Cabinet Minister Harak Singh Rawat said it was an attempted scam.

Bhatt demanded that three Ministers should be removed from the Cabinet as they had deflated Chief Minister Harish Rawat’s propaganda to defame BJP leaders.

He said Congress-led Uttarakhand Government had dented its image which was why they have been trying malign the image of Opposition party leaders. In this regard sometime they made allegations against the Opposition party leader then their Cabinet Minister diluted the allegation by giving some proof. Earlier they made allegation against leader of opposition in the ASHA kit scam but later they said that the scam happened in the year 2008-09 while Ajay Bhatt was chairman of NRHM in the year 2009-2010. “ I did not have any financial authority and never signed any project implementation programme (PIP). I had attended only one meeting and nothing else. I collected this evidence through Right to Information Act (RTI). Even health minister Surendra Singh Negi has given clean chit to me. In another case, Congress made allegation against former cabinet minister Trivendra Singh Rawat in Dhaincha seed procurement scam. Even cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat has given statement that he had raised the matter in the Vidhan Sabha but in reality opposition had raised the  matter,” said Bhatt. He challenged Harak Singh Rawat to prove that he had raised the matter following which he would accept whatever Harak says to him. Now the minister is saying that that dhaincha seed procurement was scam but did not involve financial irregularity. If they say this then what is the sanctity of Tripathi commission, which was referred to investigate alleged scam happen during BJP regime between 207-2012IJ Bhatt demanded that the PCC president Kishore Upadhyay seek a public apology for this false propaganda.

Bhatt further said that Congress leaders are working round the clock on how to defame BJP leaders and reiterated that they would not succeed in their mission. Now people have understood their political gimmick so they will teach them lesson in upcoming assembly election-2017, he added.
