It is learnt that the report received at SSP office over the fraudulent withdrawal of money on Tuesday was transferred to Special Operation Group (SOG) for investigation. Dehradun SSP Sadanand Shankar Rao Date said that teams formed are working hard to crack the case.
He expressed hope that team members would soon arrest the culprits. Notably, `3.68 lakh was allegedly spirited away from the bank account of a teacher of a government-run school Pal Singh by unidentified persons. Singh said that the amount had been withdrawn over five days starting from November 26. He lodged a complaint at the SSP office on Tuesday.
