Innofinity, a one-day design conclave was organised at the School of Design Studies (SoDS) at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES).
The director Media Affair of UPES, Arun Dhand said that SoDS organised a “Design Conclave” for the very first time in its campus at Bidholi. This conclave had two distinct components called ‘Design Dialogue’ and ‘Design Opera’. He informed that in ‘Design Dialogue’ three eminent personalities from the field of Design interacted with the students. Dhand informed that the ‘Design Opera’ component was an exhibition to showcase the variety of products designed by the students “Some of the main attractions of the exhibition included the clay model exhibits of various vehicles by the students of Transportation Design, these models were made from imported industrial clay and were made by the exact process which is followed at General Motors’’, he said.
