Dehradun police recovered a body of old man from a canal near Kesarwala, under Raipur police station area on Friday. The deceased has been identified as 75-year-old Govind Prasad, resident of Rudraprayag and he was currently living in Raipur along with his family.
Police was informed about a body lying in a canal, near Kesarwala (Maldevta) at around 7.30 am on Friday. Police reached the spot and recovered the body. The body has been sent for postmortem examination and result is awaited, said Raipur Police Station in-charge Mukesh Tyagi.
