The Nainital district administration has instructed officials concerned to utilise fund allocated for various developmental works before March 31, 2014. The administration also stressed on the need to expedite work road repairs works on priority basis.
The administration also directed officials of the Agriculture and Horticulture departments to ensure timely payment of crop insurance dues of the farmers in the istrict and further warned that strict action will be taken against those banks and insurance companies which are not clearing the crop insurance dues of the farmers.Besides, reviewing the drinking water situation, the Nainital district administration has also emphasised on the need to smoothen the drinking water services on time in view of the summer season.
