The Almora district administration has directed the officials concerned of different departments to complete the developmental works being carried out under the MlA and the MP funds in the district on time.
Stressing on the need to ensure timely completion of these developmental works, the District Magistrate, Almora, Akshyat Gupta, has said that appropriate departmental actions will be taken against those officials concerned who fail to complete these developmental works on time.
Expediting the process of the developmental works , timely utilisation of the fund is need of the hour, added Gupta. Expressing disappointment over pendency of many developmental works in the district, the officials concerned of the district administration Almora said that developmental works worth `18 crore of the previous financial year still remain pending.
Keeping in view importance of these developmental works as they are directly related to the public, the pending works must be completed in a time bound manner, added the officials concerned.
