The Governor of Uttarakhand, Dr KK Paul, here in Nainital on Sunday asked the officials concerned of the district administration to maintain law and order and peace. He also asked them to resove people's concerns on a priority basis. At the same time he also asked the officials concerned to expedite the renovation works being carried in the Raj Bhawan Nainital.
Among others H S Dhami, VC Kumaon University, Kumaon Commissioner A S Nayal and other senior officials from the district administration Nainital welcomed the Governor on his arrival at the Raj Bhawan Nainital on Sunday. This was first visit of Dr Paul to Nainital , after his becoming the Governor of Uttarakhand . Earlier he was received by chairman of Nainital municipal council Shyam Narayan, District Magistrate, Nainital Deepak Rawat and SSP Nainital SSP Senthil Abudai on reaching at the Kailakhan helipad in Nainital on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, as the officials concerned said the Raj Bahwan renovation works are being carried out at the cost of Rs 6.78 crore. Out of the aforesaid amount, the Government of India has already released Rs3.78 crore for carrying out the Raj Bhawan renovation works. Now the State Government has also approved Rs 3 crore to complete the rest of the said renovation woks.
