A woman from Odisha, Gayatri Mishra who was trying to get refund for a cancelled helicopter booking to Kedarnath for two years now, succeeded in getting her dues cleared thanks to the CM App. After lodging her complaint through the CM App in January this year, she has now received her money back. Thanking the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, the lady said that she had lost hope of getting her money back but was finally able to get it back thanks to the application facilitated in the state.
During April-May, 2017, Bhubaneswar resident Gayatri Mishra had made online booking for the Char Dham Yatra through Patan Devi Foundation. She cancelled the helicopter booking to Kedarnath and was assured that she would be returned the money for the cancelled helicopter booking. However, despite repeated attempts she was unable to get the refund. Someone then told her about the CM App on which she lodged her complaint in January 2019. On directions from the CM office, the police investigated the complaint and found it to be genuine. The foundation also acknowledged its error and refunded Rs 73,600 paid for the helicopter booking. Thanking the CM and police, the lady appreciated the system in place for online redressal of complaints.
