Three- member- team of National Women Commission led by retired IAS Alok Rawat reached Dehradun on Thursday and discussed with the police officers, including the State DGP MA Ganapathy, about the complaints pertaining to women, cases related to crime against women of the State and police’s steps for its redressal. On the occasion, nodal officers of various districts were also present. A women public hearing would be held at police lines in Dehradun on Friday.
Women who have registered complaints at various districts and women police officers dealing such cases have been invited in the programme.
