Infuriated over the callous approach of the State Government for not fulfilling the year long pending demands of Uttarakhand Nurses Services Association (UNSA), office bearers have decided to include all Government establishments including CHCs, PHCs and health centres of Dehradun district for strik
Speaking to The Pioneer, Anjana Bhowmick, State president, UNSA said that despite the fact that memorandum highlighting their demands was given many times to health department officials, the State Government has not taken any steps for fulfilling their year long pending demands of Association.
She also threatened to intensify their Statewide agitation in the near future if the State Government does not take effective steps to fulfill Association’s demand in the given time frame. The agitated staff nurses also shouted anti department slogans during their protest in Doon Group of Hospitals and said that they will withdraw their agitation only after their year long pending demands would be fulfilled by the State Government.
