Sources said that SIT had enough of clues indicating involvement of academy officers in facilitating Ruby’s entry and stay in the campus aside from her attending the photo session along with the President Pranab Mukherjee, but they have failed to achieve concrete evidences to arrest the academy officers involved in it.
The SIT had earlier legally verified evidences recovered so far in course of the investigation. But SIT felt they might not do justice to this case when the lower-rung academy officials are being coerced by their seniors into diluting things by taking the blame on their own heads. Moreover, the academy director’s role in the Ruby Choudhary case is mysterious so far. He is yet to state his stance over the riddle of Choudhary staying in the academy for around seven months, posing as an IAS probationer. Police sources said it seems as though the director is striving hard to shield the deputy director and course director Jain.
