A day after the Rudrapur MlA Rajkumar Thukral along with his supporters reportedly verbally abused and manhandled staff of a toll plaza, the police have not lodged an FIR. According to sources, no FIR has been lodged as no complaint has been received by the police in this regard. On Sunday, the MlA and his supporters had gone to the Devaria toll plaza in Kichha and reportedly stalled collection of toll as work on the national highway 74 has not been completed yet. After the police reached the site, there was an altercation between the police and the MlA’s supporters. The MlA intervened and managed to resolve the altercation. later, after talks were held with the sub divisional magistrate and toll tax officials, a written assurance was provided stating that the incomplete works would be completed by the end of June.
