Prashant Mahadik and Suresh Redhu have been elected as chairman and vice chairman, respectively, of the CII Uttarakhand State Council for the year 2015-16, at the Annual Session of CII Uttarakhand State Council held at Dehradun. Mahadik is the chief manager (Haridwar Complex) at ITC limited. He is a mechanical engineer and also holds diplomas in Business Management and Information Systems Management. He started his career with Godfrey Phillips India ltd and 26 years later joined ITC ltd. In addition to taking forward the CSR agenda of ITC in the State, Mahadik also supports various orphanages and old age homes in his personal capacity.
Redhu is a graduate in mechanical engineering with honours from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra and a post graduate in Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management & Technology, Mumbai. He is executive director and vice president (Manufacturing) at Aquamall Water Solutions ltd. He carries an experience of 26 years across industry verticals. He is also an ardent sports follower. Alok K Singh, Plant Head, TATA Motors, Pantnagar, has been elected as the chairman of the CII Uttarakhand Kumaon Zone.
